Biblical Business Growth Principles

Growing your company based on biblical teachings about conducting business can be a principled and ethical approach.

Business Principles

Integrity

Operate your business with honesty, transparency, and integrity. Proverbs 11:1 says, A false balance ins an abomination to the Lord, but a just weight is His delight."

Honoring Contracts

"let your yeses be yes, and your no's be no." Keep your promises and contracts. Ecclesiastes 5:5 warns against making hasty promises.

Avoid Deception

Refrain from false advertising and deceptive marketing practices. Proverbs 20:14 says, "Bad, bad," says the buyer, but when he goes away, then he boasts."

Sabbath Rest

Remember to rest and maintain a work life balance, as in the observance of the Sabbath

Fairness

Treat employeees, clients, and cometitors fairly. Liviticus 19:13 advises, "you shall not oppress your neighbor or rob him."

Generosity

Give back to the community and support charitable causes. 2 Corinthians 9:7 encourages, "Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."

Accountability

Be accountable for your actions and decisions. Mathew 12:36 reminds us that, " I tell youm on the day of judgement people will give account for every careless word they speak."

Stewardship

Recognize that all resources, including your business and its profits, are ultimately entrusted to you by God. As a steward, it's important to manage these resources wisely and responsibly. Luke 12:48 teaches, "Everyone to whom much was given, of him much will be required."

Service

Focus on serving your clients and meeting their needs. Mark 10:45 says, "for even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve."

Diligence

Work diligently and strive for excellence. Proverbs 22:29 states, "do you see a man skillful in his work? He will stand before kings; he will not stand before obscure men."

Seek Guidance

Pray for guidance and wisdom in business decisions. James 1:5 advises, "If any of you lacks wisdoms, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him."

Seek Wisdom

Proverbs 3:13-18 emphasizes the value of wisdom, saying, "Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one gets understanding, for the fain from her is better than gain from silver and her profit better than gold."

About Me

If I incorporate these foundational Biblical principles into my business strategy, I don't think I can lose.

Let me step down a notch, and tell you a little bit about myself, my dream, and ultimately, this.

Digital Ramen aims to build, inspire, and educate.

I can't walk in your shoes, but I can cheer you along to keep going. I can share some personal anecdotes, use some famous quotes, throw in a couple proven Biblical concepts.

Bible is new ingredient to my business strategy. I am hoping to repel a few shysters from bothering me and build up mine and your business using the "for sure" thinking.

I'm a car builder by trade. I used to detail cars, pretty like, then learned how to paint them, then how to build them. Then I decided to become a great.

That's when my eyes opened.

I gave so much more of my service to my customers despite the few dollars than they reluctantly gave me for my work. In the beginning, I was blinded by excitement. In the middle, I was feeling discouraged that 4 or 5 years into my craft, I was still halfway mediocre, with little opportunity for upward mobility. When I opened a shop, Luxmanov Garaj, formerly called "Valentina's Auto Care", started restoring classic cars and helping friends out at a discount when they got a fender bender, I was on the hook for alot of liability. I began taking myself more seriously. My approach to learning is complete obsession until I get it right. I have worked 70-80 hour weeks months at a time, for years. Occasional crash happens every few months, but it's a small price to pay.

I want to introduce myself, the author, as a builder. Not only do I build cars, with an artistic flair and a  caliblibrated precision of a season professional, I'd also label myself as a people builder. I have built myself, my few businesses, the people around me, and hopefully yours as well.

I can't make you any promises about any solution I can offer. I simply feel called to build. And here we are. Your dream is next!
